1.To create scientific temper among rural and tribal people for reducing myths, misconceptions and demystification of science and technology. •To build up the capacity of science communicators by training them through folk songs-oyillattam, kolattam, thappattam and street play.
•To motivate students, youths including out of school youth to practice healthy behaviour and inculcate in them to lead an addition free, drug-free, tension free healthy life.
•To increase scientific knowledge among women and adolescent girls on nutritional requirements, self hygiene and life skills in rural and tribal areas.
•To educate the rural and tribal people about the cause and threats of global warming, environment preservation and related sustainable development goals.
